Laurie Goodlad is a green badge guide who takes visitors on tours around Shetland. She wanted the branding for Shetland with Laurie to be simple and raw, and yet pack a punch without being overly fussy or intricately detailed. We settled on a rough brush stroke marque, which represents a curling wave or a strand of wild bog cotton. A core colour palette of teal and dusty pink was chosen to reflect the sea and the ubiquitous ‘sea pink’, a flower that grows along every cliff edge.
